The Ride for Raptors is a recreational bike tour including distances of 25,62 and 100 miles. It was named a winner of the "Best Century Rides of 1993" by the League of American Bicyclists. It includes choices of distances and terrain suitable for most cyclists. The ride is fully supported and all participants receive a commemorative T-shirt. The Quarter Century extends through the scenic farmlands surrounding historic Pendleton. The most difficult, of course, is the ECCC Century Challenge. It is 101 miles ranging from the Pendleton area to scenic Hwy 11 in the foothills of Northern Pickens County. All rides begin "On the Square" in Pendleton.
